Flash Animations while visually appealing, at least for a while, they are not recommended for business web sites, as links and text copy within flash are invisible to Search Engine spiders. There is also a file size issue which can mean lengthy download times depending upon your internet connection speed, this may not be important if you know that most of your target web audience have a broadband connection or the Flash Animation is kept under 40k.

If you do wish to use Flash on your web pages, we recommend using animated sequences (which don't contain web page links), within a standard HTML page. This helps the search engine spiders to follow and map linked pages within a site.
